Materials and Structural Design

The 2XL EGG Frame uses powder-coated aluminum for the upper frame sections and legs to provide weather resistance and a clean visual appearance. The lower shelf frame and cross beams are constructed from steel, which is required at the 2XL scale to handle the structural load of the 375-pound 2XL EGG at cooking height. The powder-coated finish on all components protects against corrosion, UV degradation, and the thermal cycling inherent in proximity to a high-temperature outdoor cooking appliance. All components are designed for permanent outdoor installation in exposed conditions.

Stainless Steel Grid Insert
