Unlike the open Expansion Frame, which provides shelving with inserts on both the upper and lower levels, the Expansion Cabinet features an enclosed watertight compartment below the upper frame position, providing protected storage for charcoal, accessories, and supplies that need to be shielded from rain and outdoor moisture. The cabinet connects to EGG Frames and other Expansion Frames using the Modular Nest connector system and accepts the same range of inserts on its upper surface as all other Modular Nest modules.
